What
is a Virtual Home Downsizing Consultation?
Many
of our out-of-town clients start by scheduling a Virtual Home Downsizing Consultation
with Michael Ivankovich. This allows them to discuss their goals, objectives,
and personal property valuation information directly with Michael, utilizing his
35+ years of experience, rather than dealing with someone having considerably
less experience. The
Virtual Consultation is usually done by phone, but in some instances we can arrange
for an iChat or video chat, depending upon the individual situation. A Step 3
Virtual Consultation usually lasts 30-90 minutes, depending upon the number of
questions to be answered and items to be appraised. Step
1: Before scheduling a Step 3 Virtual Consultation, we recommend that you
call us at (215)-345-6094 for a FREE Step 1 Conference to see if a Virtual
Home Downsizing Consultation is right for you. If it fits, we can proceed to Step
2. If this doesn't seem to be the right approach for you, you will have wasted
no more than 5-10 minutes at zero expense.
Step
2: If we agree to go forward, you will then send us:
- Digital
Images (or Photographs) of any items you wish to have evaluated or appraised.
- An
itemized listing of any items you wish to have evaluated or appraised.
- A
listing of any specific questions that you may have.
Confidentiality
of All Information and Photos: All information and photos shared with us are
confidential and become part of your personal Home Downsizing file. We are the
only party who sees this information, and is never sold or shared with anyone.
All photos and information can be returned upon request. We strive to achieve
the very highest standards of ethics and integrity in performing these services
for our clients. Step
3: After reviewing your Pictures, Lists & Questions we will contact you
to schedule your Virtual Consultation. During the Consultation, you will speak
directly with Michael as he reviews your Photos, Listings & Questions with
you. It usually works best if you are located in the downsizing location during
the consultation, and preferably on a cell or portable phone. This will allow
you to move around as Michael asks questions such as size, condition, or individual
characteristics of specific items. You are welcome to have others involved in
the consultation as well.
During
the Consultation: Michael will: - Answer
your questions.
- Provide
valuation advice.
- Suggest
how and where to sell those items you wish to sell.
- Suggest
how and where you can donate items of nominal value that you no longer want or
need.
- Help
you to connect with Realtors, Movers, Auctioneers, Non-Profits, Internet Web Sites,
Cleanout Specialists, etc. in your home area.
- Provide
you with our professional downsizing guidance and advice throughout your entire
home downsizing proces
- It
will be almost as if we were there in person.
After
the Consultation: Michael's phone will always be open to you for any questions
that you may have, and periodically he will follow-up with you to see how you
are progressing. If
